Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Mobisat LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), operator of the Alignu application, governing your access to and use of the Alignu mobile application, website (alignu.net), and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Mobisat LLC — EIN: 32-0633739 — is a company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA, with its registered address at 1309 Coffeen Avenue, STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

By downloading, accessing, or using Alignu, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

2. Eligibility

To use Alignu, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Not be prohibited from receiving our services under applicable law
• Provide accurate information during account registration

If you are using Alignu on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Promptly update your information if it changes
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account at support@alignu.net
• Not share your account credentials with any third party
• Not create more than one account per person

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used fraudulently.

4. 7-Day Free Trial

New users who have not previously subscribed to Alignu are eligible for a 7-day free trial ("Trial Period") upon account creation.

Trial Terms

• The Trial Period provides full access to all Alignu features included in the Master plan.
• No payment is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the Trial Period.
• To continue using Alignu after the Trial Period, you must activate a paid subscription.
• You may cancel at any time during the Trial Period without being charged.
• If you do not cancel before the Trial Period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the then-current rate.

Trial Eligibility

• One free trial per person. Creating multiple accounts to access additional trials is prohibited.
• We reserve the right to determine trial eligibility and to revoke trial access in cases of abuse.

5. Subscription & Billing

Alignu offers the following subscription plan:

Master Plan

• Monthly: $24.99 per month, billed monthly
• Annual: $199.99 per year (equivalent to $16.66/month), billed annually

Prices are in US Dollars and are subject to applicable taxes. Prices may vary by region as displayed in the App Store or Google Play.

Billing Terms

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to renewal.
• You authorize us (or Apple/Google on our behalf) to charge your selected payment method at the beginning of each billing period.
• Renewal charges occur within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Apple & Google In-App Purchases

Alignu subscriptions are available through Apple's App Store and Google Play Store. When you subscribe through these platforms, the following additional terms apply:

Apple App Store (iOS)

• Purchases are processed by Apple Inc. Your iTunes/Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
• Apple's standard refund policies apply. We cannot process refunds for App Store purchases — these must be requested directly through Apple.
• Apple's App Store Terms of Service govern all App Store transactions.

Google Play Store (Android)

• Purchases are processed by Google LLC. Your Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through the Google Play app: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Google's standard refund policies apply. Refund requests for Google Play purchases should be submitted to Google directly.
• Google Play's Terms of Service govern all Google Play transactions.

7. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your Alignu subscription at any time, with no cancellation fees and no questions asked.

How to Cancel

• In-app: Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription
• iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Alignu → Cancel
• Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Alignu → Cancel
• By email: support@alignu.net (allow 1 business day for processing)

Effect of Cancellation

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not receive a prorated refund for unused time in the current period.
• You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.
• You can continue to use Alignu until the end of your paid period.
• Your data will be retained for 90 days after cancellation, giving you time to resubscribe or export your data.
• You may resubscribe at any time. A new trial period is not available for returning subscribers.

8. Refunds

Given the nature of digital subscriptions and the 7-day free trial we offer, we do not provide refunds for subscription payments except where required by applicable law.

Exceptions

• If you were charged in error or experienced a billing issue, contact us within 14 days and we will review and resolve your case.
• If Alignu is materially defective or substantially unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours during a paid period, you may request a prorated credit or refund.
• Consumers in the European Union have a right to withdraw from digital purchases within 14 days, unless the service has been provided and you have acknowledged that you lose this right upon accessing the service.
• For App Store or Google Play purchases, refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google respectively, as we do not have access to your payment information.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Alignu only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without express written permission
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm any person
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
• Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements by creating multiple accounts
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without our prior written consent
• Impersonate Alignu or any other person or entity

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service — including the Alignu name, logo, app design, AI coaching framework, software code, and content — are owned by or licensed to Alignu and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

This license does not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what is expressly stated here. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

11. Your Content

Your journal entries, coaching responses, voice recordings, and other content you create in Alignu ("Your Content") belong to you. We claim no ownership rights over Your Content.

By using Alignu, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your account or specific content.

You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms, but we are not obligated to monitor or review Your Content proactively.

12. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• Results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any defects in the Service will be corrected

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALIGNU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so the above may not apply to you in full.

13. Not a Medical or Therapy Service

Alignu is an AI coaching and personal development tool. It is not a medical service, mental health treatment, psychotherapy, or clinical intervention of any kind.

The AI coaching provided by Alignu is based on personal development frameworks and is intended to support self-reflection and growth. It should not be used to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical or psychological condition.

By using Alignu, you acknowledge that you understand this distinction and agree not to rely on Alignu as a substitute for professional care.

14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account in the app or contacting us at support@alignu.net.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or created risk or legal exposure for us or other users.

Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will cease immediately (or at the end of your paid period for voluntary cancellations)
• Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before changes take effect
• For significant changes, seek your re-confirmation of acceptance where required by law

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. We aim to resolve disputes informally — please contact us first at support@alignu.net and we will make every reasonable effort to resolve any issue within 30 days.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also be entitled to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
